"...Let us run with patience the race that is set before us." Hebrews 12:1
"...Let us run with patience the race that is set before us." Hebrews 12:1
God blessed Job's life in the latter more than the former. In the last chapter of Job, the daughters are named; they inherited with the sons, which was unheard of in that time. The sons are not named in this passage. God values daughters. Through him the girls that come into our care will have a Godly inheritance; their latter end will be better than the former.
Job 42:13-15, “He (Job) had seven sons and three daughters. And he called the name of the first, JEMIMA; and the name of the second, KEZIA; and the name of the third, KERENHAPPUCH. And in all the land were no women found so fair as the daughters of Job: and their father gave them inheritance among their brethren."
JKK Inheritance Haven is committed to providing a healing environment where teen girls of human trafficking and sexual exploitation can receive support, restoration, strength, empowerment, and liberty to walk from sufferer to self- sufficient; from victim to victor; from casualty to warrior.
Support JKK and assist us in her restoration. Currently, we are in Phase I.
*Phase I: community education; raising awareness; and fundraising
*Phase II: licensing protocols, policy development, ongoing fundraising, and acquiring property
*Phase III: hiring professional staff, professional development, and WELCOMING OUR FIRST RESIDENTS!
JKK Inheritance Haven is committed to providing systemic holistic therapy, structure, education, and environment to assist sexually abused, traumatized females, ages 13 to 18 for a minimum of a year. Residents will walk through a therapeutic program designed for their individual needs. Each resident is treated with respect, dignity, and value; a soul made in the image of God. Treatment is focused on the restoration of innocence and the residents' growth into womanhood. Bridge services will be provided to residents as they transition back to the community.
The name JKK Inheritance Haven comes from the last chapter of Job. God restores Job's wealth and He gives Job 7 sons and 3 daughters. The sons are not named, but the daughters are: Jemima, Kezia, and Keren-happuch (JKK). Job gave his daughters an inheritance along with the sons. The girls we will minister to don't know about the spiritual Inheritance that is available to them, through Christ. JKK is a faith based ministry. We will introduce them to Jesus; to what He intends for them, which is not the life of abuse that they have suffered. We want them to see themselves through His eyes. Unless they are given the opportunity to live in safety, to receive long-term therapeutic care and time to heal, they won't know the life that He has for them. They need a safe Haven to experience that.

In 2017 the Lord gave me a vision. I saw a piece of rural property; there were buildings rising, utilities going in, and many girls being ministered to. There was a spirit of peace, safety, and victory there. I remember thinking, "OK, God, I know this is from You but I don't have wealth, a financial portfolio, the type of land that I saw, and I don't know anyone who will give me those things." I'm sure that Lord looked at me like He did Moses and thought, "I've heard this story before. I know what you don't have, Ronni." But, I said, "OK, Lord, but I would like to have confirmation." A very short time later a friend contacted me to speak at a conference with her and some of her colleagues. Dr. Mary Jo Schneller (South County Christian Counseling Founder) asked me to speak about Human Sex Trafficking; thus confirmation. I started researching this issue and realizing just how big this issue is and that Hollywood and all its glitz and glamour does not portray this issue accurately. I started thinking about several aspects of my life and realized God has been preparing me for this for many years. Upon completing college, I moved to the Fenton area and met a family at church and became lifelong friends. Their adult daughter is a few years older than I. I became her sign language interpreter. Her husband had been trafficking her to pay for his drug debt. My mother and I raised my 2 nieces from the time they were 5 and 6. Girls that age telling us that "daddy's friends gave him money to come do naughty stuff to us while he was at work," gave me a front seat into the trauma victims suffer. Then too, it was not referred to as Human Sex Trafficking. I was working as a parole officer for the State of Missouri at that time. Looking back at my time as a parole officer I can see that children who are trafficked become adults who are trafficked. There is no magic switch that gives the victims the skills, resources, and opportunities to escape their traffickers just because they reach the age of 18. Who will help them? If they are given more opportunities at a younger age, they will have a better chance of escaping that life with schooling, job skills, healthy boundaries and relationships, understanding of how to use their voices, and how to advocate for themselves; how to live victorious lives.
In the first phase of ministry for JKK we have raised awareness of Human Sex Trafficking and educating the public regarding Human Sex Trafficking. We have participated in events, held fundraisers, and conducted presentations. In the second phase we continued with steps of phase 1 and focused on purchasing property on which to build a long-term therapeutic home for teen female victims of Human Sex Trafficking. We made an offer on 37 acres in rural Washington County. The property has improvements: electricity, septic system, well, driveway, and some clearing. We also know some of the neighbors and they will be a safety factor for this ministry. The owner of the property held the property for us for over a year. She wanted to see us buy it. There were at least 2 other buyers who would have paid her more than we offered. We did not give her earnest money nor was there a written contract. We had a verbal agreement that JKK would pay her $60,000 for the 37 acres. We started praying that the Lord would open doors for us and bring in the finances for us from the North, South, East, and West. In September 2022 the owner stated that the window was closing for us. She wanted to sell her holdings here and move to Oregan to live with her son and daughter-in-law. I asked her to give me until the end of October to obtain the money. She agreed. Not 5 minutes after I had that conversation with the land owner, I received a call from Dr. Mary Jo Schneller; she was very excited. "Did you read my email? Did you read my email?" No, I hadn't. Mary Jo stated that Times of Refreshing Christian Center in New York City had invited us to come speak at a conference the last weekend of October. I closed my eyes and felt the earth shift. I knew the Lord was in this. I said ok, let's do it. On October 7, 2022 my mother spoke prophetically over JKK. She said, "This is bigger than you think and this is going further than you think." The next day we attended a wedding. Mary Jo was also at the wedding. It was an outside venue. Mary Jo asked, "Did you read my email?" I laughed, "No, what this time?" She said, "Ronni, the conference with Times of Refreshing Christian Center will be broadcast worldwide!" I closed my eyes and again I felt the earth shift. I opened my eyes expecting people to be feeling an earthquake. No, I was the only one who felt the shift. And just that quickly the Lord reminded me that we had been praying for open doors and finances from the North, South, East, and West (Worldwide)! God is AMAZING!!! During my part of the conference I spoke about Human Sex Trafficking and I presented the need for the property; we were $35,000 short of the agreed price of $60,000. Mary Jo and I went back to our hotel room about 1:30 AM Monday. We received a call from Pastors Robyn, Tony, and Nathan Kassas and the congregation on zoom call about 2:30 AM. They said, "Ronni, how much did you need to purchase that property?" I replied, "$35,000." They said, "Not anymore!" We rejoiced for another hour. It was wonderful. When We arrived home, I found that I had a message from a couple, Daniel and Val D'Amico, who were at the conference. They are real estate brokers in New York City. They had a piece of property that had been delayed in closing for 2 years. That property closed less than 2 weeks later. They gave their commission check, $46,000 to JKK toward building.
We sought professional recommendations regarding building and how much to budget for the build. Contractor Randy Lotz, consulted with us. He and his wife came and looked at the property. They were impressed with the location of the property, as well as the lay of the ground; "It's perfect." Randy built a daycare and has also built or helped build many homes. Randy stated he has a team of 40 skilled professionals who want to help on this build. They have committed to donate ALL the labor for this project. We have met with the drafter who is drawing the blueprints; he too has volunteered his work. Randy has also obtained some of the building materials as donations: bricks and keystones. We will need approximately $250,000 for building materials. The specifications for the build require a larger septic system than what is at the property. This will require some additional excavating. We have a gentleman with that skill; he will donate his time and skills as well.
We are continuing to hold fundraisers and presentations. We are also writing grant applications. Most of the policy, procedures, and handbooks for the program are written. We are developing forms needed for residential programs. We are making contacts and phone calls to be in compliance with the State Fire Marshall and Licensing Authority in Jefferson City.
We hope to start building this year.
UPDATE:
In October 2023 JKK began excavating and building. We are learning the details of building a new facility as we go; it’s an experience! It looked roughly like: excavating, leveling, digging, gravel spreading, building a tall wall, sealing the tall wall, more digging, more gravel, building the short wall, pouring cement, more digging, more gravel, inserting the rough plumbing, more gravel, leveling, and…..drum roll….. The flat work. We are so blessed. God continues to advance this ministry. I’m astounded at the surprise contacts He is bringing to us (more later). JKK continues to participate in civil groups, present information, and make additional contacts for continued awareness regarding Human Sex Trafficking in our communities.
As many are aware, prices on construction materials have greatly increased. Laborers are concerned about supporting their families. With these factors in mind, the price of materials and labor have greatly increased. We now estimate that the remaining build cost could be $400,000. We are not down trodden nor discouraged. We know this is pocket change for God. We keep our hand to the plow and continue to work while it is yet light. JKK continues to receive monthly donations and hold fundraisers.

Sexual Exploitation is modern day slavery. Predators are like sharks, they prey on the vulnerable. America is the largest producer and user of pornography, and sexual exploiter of children, globally.
